# Hey everyone I’m currently growing this Thai constellation and I’ve…

_Posted by Dakota on 2025-03-26_

Hey everyone I’m currently growing this Thai constellation and I’ve noticed that two leaves have started to yellow and I don’t know why, all the other leaves are okay I don’t know if it’s a watering issue or a pest issue or a light issue, if anyone could help that would be amazing thank you

Are the older leaves? Have you repotted any time soon? Us fertilizer?

#### Dakota replied on 2025-03-26

They’re the third and fourth leaf and I repotted it maybe just over a week ago and used fertilizer when I repotted it

That rules out root bound and probably deficiency. It could be overwatering or possibly over fertilizer if it happened after that.

To much sun ? Compared to the amount of water

It’s under a grow bulb unless that still effects it the issue is it’s in a big pot so idk when it’s properly dry

it looks similar to when i had been overwatering mine and it ended up dying to rot :(
i would check the soil with a wooden skewer - i wait til its about 90% dry before watering. also, how chunky is your soil?

#### Dakota replied on 2025-03-26

Mines really chunky and I did what you said with the wooden squewer and it came out dry

ooh ok, maybe it is just the lower leaves dying off to make room for new growth then!
