# Okay, so vulnerable post here. I rescued two Monstera Thai’s from…

Okay, so vulnerable post here.
I rescued two Monstera Thai’s from Walmart a few months ago. They were rotted all to do, smelt SO bad, water logged,m and everything.
I took them home, cleaned them up and repotted them.
They weren’t dying or anything, just NOT growing, and so I thought I’d put them in some SHADE for a few hours outside. I came back and they were burnt! 😭😭
I tired to leave them alone for a few weeks and not water and just let them exist but the leaves started to brown and yellow even more.
Here is them before when I first potted, I didn’t leave them in this sun and that outside photo was months ago and this is what they looked like before I repotted and what I’ve done today. Hopefully they will make a 3rd come back and survive because they are so beautiful! 😭😭

Don’t worry, happened to mine in less than 20 minutes of direct sun driving it home. I cut the leaf off at the base of the lea, leaving the whole petiole in tact for now. Less than 2 weeks later it’s putting a new leaf to work
