# So I randomly found this giant monstera at my local grocery store and…

So I randomly found this giant monstera at my local grocery store and it was only $20 so I to get it. I never had a plant this size should I wait for it to acclimate before repot? Should I put it on a moss pole or a trellis? Any tips or advice 🙏🏽

I totally would have grabbed her too for $20!! Nice find!! I personally would let her acclimate a bit

I would let her acclimate a bit, monsteras tend to be happy when they're rootbound. Also, if you wipe down the leaves it will help them with photosynthesis. I personally do a mix of neem oil, castille soap and water and it makes the leaves nice and shiny

This!! And bottom water - when I top water my cheese plants it's a fungus gnat heaven, I have yellow sticky traps in the soil and bottom water every few days, make sure it's a chunky soil mix too! Think bark, perlite (the white specky stuff) and some Coco coir if you can find some! 😍 Gorgeous plant!!!
