# Just got this monstera for $14 at Lowe’s bc of some of the issues…

Just got this monstera for $14 at Lowe’s bc of some of the issues pictured here! Any idea what’s going on w the unhealthy leaves? Any advice? Thanks!!

she looks healthy! 💚🪴 the leaf damage is likely just from being handled too roughly and the white residue is just from calcium in tap water. the little munch marks may indicate pests but I can’t tell from the pictures.

I was going to type this exactly! Looks like they’ve been too rough with her. Maybe some sign of pests - keep her in quarantine away from your other plants and then repot into appropriate soil once she’s settled?
