Should I trim this yellow leaf. If so, is there a specific way to do it?

You could trim it, but I just pull them off where the leaf attaches to the main stem. When the leaves are super yellow like that they usually pop off really easily! (:

For future reference, for any plant species that don't release leaves like that easily, sterilize some cutters (rub with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and let it air dry, or hold the metal over a flame to heat-sterilize it) and just snip off the leaf near the base of the plant
