_Posted by Sophia on 2025-05-28_

I got this monstera from Trader Joe’s about a year ago. It has done super well, I have transplanted her a few times. She has loved living in Florida but now I fear she’s getting out of control! Should I transplant her or is there something else I can do?

i’ve got some suggestions but she is absolutely gorgeous and thriving! i would probably get her on a homemade moss pole (find a tutorial on tiktok) and all the limbs can be on the same pole. she would be very happy! or you could separate and give to friends if she’s too much

I’ve actually never propagated before? How would I go about doing so?

i just cut a piece off like at one of the “joints” and then just leave it in water and they actually root pretty quick and all of mine have worked so far 😁🔆

It looks like you may have multiple monsteras, stores do that sometimes to make them look bushier. you can separate them then put them on moss poles!
