What do I do?  
I read that it could actually be a good thing…

You can remove it if you want, but it’s not a danger to your plant and will likely die off in a day or so on its own. Mushrooms are generally considered to be a sign of healthy soil! 🍄

Agreed, mushrooms are healthy soil! Only concern would be if you have pets that snuffle around it otherwise it’s harmless!
