This babe has put me THREW IT. I received her from a plant momma that was dealing with some hard life stuff. Anyways little did I know she had spider mites. And ofc they were horrible. I had thought I got rid of them until a few weeks ago I went to water her and they’re everywhere in her pot. I threw her (not literally) outside and said eff it. She’s literally been thriving outside with this infestation 😭 so today I removed her from the infested soil, soaked her entire rootball and leaves everything in cold water for 30 minutes and put her in a new pot that I scrubbed clean before hand. She’s currently on my desk in isolation but I really hope all this worked cause I’m ready to chop, prop and toss!!! 😭🙃

Ps- mind you I got her in November 2023 🫠

Spider mites lay eggs under the “skin” of the leaves, so it will take a few treatments. But you’re on the right track resetting the soil

Is there anything else I can do??

When you water do it in the sink with the sprayer and make sure to rinse all part of the leaves. You can try a little neem oil. Just keep treating until they stop coming back. You could also cut it way back, less leaves less to treat. It should grow back quickly with enough light and a little fertilizer

Thank you
