I haven’t gotten any new leaves in about 2 months. Just the stems getting longer. Usually about 3.5. But when my scindapsis do this it means I’ve been underwatering. You can cut them because leaves likely won’t grow out of the nodes unless they’re activated by another cut somewhere else on the plant #### Tellie replied on 2024-07-14 I did move it. Because my begonia was blocking it. That was about 1.5 months ago. I was saying that it might mean it needs more water #### Tellie replied on 2024-07-14 It is in a smaller pot 3 inch I believe. Maybe 4. I may not be watering it enough with it being a smaller pot. ### eatyacarbs commented on 2024-07-14 i’ve lost the plot here lol. you really just need to get this plant more light. 6 hours bright indirect at a minimum I would think — and with more light it will probably want more water eventually ### Greg commented on 2024-07-14 Yeah, call me a plantfluencer, but I'm with eatyacarbs 😂 The leaves aren't showing signs of dehydration to the same degree the vine is showing signs of lack of light. ### Mara commented on 2024-07-14 Any plans for a climbing pole? Do you see how this growth of runners is happening horizontally? It’s seeking more space, something to climb and help it grow vertically. I’m not sure that it’s worth trying to propagate at the moment imo. Let it get longer or snip and to activate a new growth point. I’m interested to see what it does for you? #### Tellie replied on 2024-07-14 When I got it. It was super tiny. It was a “starter” plant I had to buy 2. I didn’t figure it needed a pole quite yet because it wasn’t that big. I will definitely be transferring it to a bigger pot. #### Mara replied on 2024-07-16 I get that, initially we want to see or figure out what it wants to do. Since it is small, you probably already know but there are lots of choices for your little guy if you want to try. I sometimes use these small moss supports to give my small climbers at head start and they do the job.
