Hello! Some of my leaves are curling up. Does anyone know why this is happening? I’m pretty good with my watering schedule and it has good sunlight.

Usually if the leaves are curling, it wants more water. When did you last water it and what soil is it in?

I watered it a week ago but added liquid fertilizer today. It’s in miracle gro soil

That soil looks pretty hard, so I suspect it has become hydrophobic, which means it repels water. I don’t like using miracle grow unless I add lots of perlite and orchid bark, but since you probably don’t have those things or other soil on hand, I would recommend using a skewer or chopstick to break up the soil until it is no longer hard and has no chunks, and then watering it.

Once you have time to repot, you should either add drainage material like perlite and orchid bark to the new soil, or get a premade mix like foxfarm soil, which I have heard lots of good things about.

I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest as the base medium for all my house plants and supplement as needed with peat/sphag/bark/perlite as Riley mentioned.

Also agree this looks very thirsty!

Are these photos from today after you watered with fertilizer? When you water you need to really “drown” as long as you have drainage — which is critical for a monstera. Like Riley pointed out, in these photos I see a gap between the sides of your pot and the soil which does indicate soil that is too dry. I would saturate this really really well until that soil expands towards the sides of the pot kind of like a rehydrated sponge

Should i wait to water it till the app tells me too, which is in 7 days or should i just water it again today but really saturate it?
