# Not sure if exactly what caused the tear in this leaf but it keeps…

Not sure if exactly what caused the tear in this leaf but it keeps getting bigger. It was otherwise healthy until the tear, causing it to droop.  
What’s the best way to handle it without hurting the chances of the other leaves to grow?  
As always thank you for any advice! 🙏

I did this to my own yesterday when I was cleaning her 😭😭😭

So idk if this will work on the actual leaf but I did have success with it on a bent/partially broken stem: I put toothpicks on either side of the injury and wrapped tape around it - like a little splint. It healed over with a brown scar but continued to support the leaf. It might not work on a leaf since they do transpiration and it could be difficult to get tape to stick. Anyway, you could try it if you wanted 🤷‍♀️
