I’m noticing my mostera’s had some yellowing and black leaves ): is this because of underwatering? Any tips on helping my plant out 😭 I haven’t moved it from its original location and this side of my living room doesn’t get direct sunlight so I don’t think it’s the sun :/

I think underwatering perhaps, yeah. Or inconsistently watering - very dry for extended periods and then very wet. That’s a shame about your new leaf. Unfortunately there’s nothing to be done for the leaves that have already taken the hit — but reevaluate your conditions and maybe check your roots.

Mine sits to the right of a west-facing bay window so it gets a lot of light during the day

This actually looks more like overwatering to me. Generally, when a plant is turning both black and yellow it is getting watered too often. I suspect that it has root rot if this many leaves are being affected. Monsteras are much more drought tolerant than people realize, and they prefer to be 75-100 percent dry before getting watered.

Is it possibly fertilizer burn?
