So I recently got a monstera plant from Home Depot. It’s my first so I’m learning how to take care of them as I go. I’ve noticed some of the leaves are turning brown and crispy. What can I do to stop this from happening? I watered it while the dirt was almost completely dry. I haven’t repotted it yet, and it’s in my kitchen close to the window so it gets partial sunlight.

do you know how dry the air is in your home? how long have you had it? houseplants are usually adjusted to the high humidity of a greenhouse and can have a bit of a shock adjusting to your home if it’s particularly dry, like under 40% humidity.
