# I just bought my first Monstera and I wanna know if where I have it…

I just bought my first Monstera and I wanna know if where I have it positioned is OK. I am limited on space so I need to know if I should put something under it and lift it higher or leave it on the floor.

If you want more of these then I would lift the pot on a stool or something but it’s great where it is!

If it can see the sky , it’s a good spot. Although, if that window is receiving harsh afternoon soon, it may scorch your leaves. So , you may want to pull it away from direct light a bit. If that window is located in an area with morning sun or sunsetting window, it’s a great spot. Placing it on a stand would help but not necessary.
