Would love some help! I purchased this Monstera Albo online and don’t love the cup it came in. I’ve had him a couple days now and he is weeping a drop occasionally in the mornings at the end of his leaf.
Is it ok to go ahead and repot? I REALLY don’t want to hurt him but I also think he could use a better soil with more drainage and generally try to not repot until necessary.
TIA! 🌱

Is there holes at the bottom of that cup?

The drop is guttation - the plant gets rid of excess water. Actually normal. Needs enough bright indirect light to use the water. You could repot but might shock the plant. Needs drainage so check that first.

Thank you. He might still just be recovering from the travel. I def don’t want to shock him more and there is drainage at the bottom.

Yeah, I would wait a month before repotting. I’m in the same boat with a Thai Con. Really want to repot, but know it’s best to wait.
