# So I’ve had this monkey mask for awhile and I feel like he’s doing…

So I’ve had this monkey mask for awhile and I feel like he’s doing fairly well, but could certainly look better . Any thoughts?

Also just got this new monstera today, will I need vertical support soon or eventually?

They both look great! And both could go on a pole. The Deliciosa, you’ll definitely want to put in a pole. The Swiss cheese plant you’ll want to decide if you want it to trail or climb. If you let it climb the leaves will get bigger

Can I use a trellis or does it need to be a moss pole? I don’t have experience with either

It can be either. They just like to climb. I’ve used both. IMO moss poles are a pain to keep damp w/o overwatering your plant. That said Sydney plant guy on YouTube has a lot of videos of plants on poles and how big they get
