If I ever cut back anything it ALWAYS grows back with brown edges. Please help I don't what it is

Are you sanitizing your shears?

Would I small sharp knife be okay?

Yea, whatever it is you use to trim.

Sometimes even if they are sanitized I will get some browning, but it definitely cut down on most of it. Usually I only see browning after trim if its in a higher humidity area, that would have more fungus spores

70% alcohol, or even peroxide. Wiped or sprayed on. I use alcohol, they make a spray bottle in the 70% so I don't have to find a sprayer to put it in. Don't get 90% as it dries to quickly to fully sanitize

Wipe, spray, and leave to dry
