# Recently had an oopsies with my monstera after a move…2 weeks later…

Recently had an oopsies with my monstera after a move…2 weeks later after pruning about half of the leaves, I noticed one of the stems is growing a new leaf right through the cut stem!! I couldn’t believe it. Has anyone seen this before?

Im just glad I didnt cut the stem further down and she made a comeback😅

Mine did the same after I had to cut off some leafs, due to thrips. She has since made a full comeback.

Did cutting off the leaves get ride of the thrips?!

I did soak it down with grow safe first, which is actually meant for spidermites, but that's all I had, and then cut the damaged leaves. I think it was about 3 leaves I had to cut. Haven't had an issue with Thrips since..
