# I could use some advice.Ledebouria socialis is having a hard time…

I could use some advice.Ledebouria socialis is having a hard time opening its leaves I see pictures of them and the leaves are so flat while mine are so tightly wound up is this the way it's supposedto be? I only notice this now because on the lower part of the plant the new leaves are breaking out halfway up the column and it just doesn't look right

I'm no expert, but in a couple of threads, I've read that it could be a humidity problem. A few people had said that misting those baby leaves and/or using a humidifier has helped their leaves release. Hopefully someone else has a better idea. Good Luck.

Thanks guys I've rearranged my plant area to incorporate more moisture.
