# My monstera had Thrips, it’s been a couple of months with me dealing…

My monstera had Thrips, it’s been a couple of months with me dealing with it and using a homemade neem oil solution, and I’m happy to say that I have not seen any pests on her and this new leaf opened up with no sign of thrips!

It’s been a journey and she’s still on her way to 100% health but I had to Share because I almost gave up and I’m so happy I saved her ! ♥️♥️🥰🥰

Congrats! I think I just cleared up a mass infestation of fungus gnats. Feels very nice!

How did you deal with this? Mine has suffered bad and i am back to just a stump 😞

Patience!! The neem oil solution really worked, I did have to cut a couple off leaves off bc there was just so many of them on some leaves. And wiping the leaves every day to get the thrips off the surface…

I don’t know if I should of done this, but I took pure neem oil and put it on heavy infested areas. Let it sit for 10 min and then wiped it off ( I ruined a leaf because I forgot to wipe it off)
