# i have had this monstera for about 2 years now, and i bought it…

i have had this monstera for about 2 years now, and i bought it thinking it had no variegation. to my surprise, it has started to develop some on the main stem and on the backside of some leaves! i’m starting to think it was a reverse variegated plant when i bought it. either way, super cool to see!

thank youu 🤭 attaching it to a trellis \& incorporating a silica mix into its watering schedule really helped with growth!

i don’t believe so. when i bought the plant it did have one variegated leaf. i have since cut that leaf off due to natural growth patterns \& pruning. i’ll attach a picture from the day i bought it, 05/03/2024.
