my monsteras soil is damp, not wet but her stem is all wrinky and shriveled, it never looks like that. what’s going on?

Hard to tell without a picture of the stem but I’d check the roots.

Definitely check the roots! She could have something going on with them making her not be able to drink her water.

i think it may be the soil switch? i switched to a different type of soil and it’s staying damp way longer than the other did.

If the soil is staying, moist for too long and not draining well, you could end up with some root rot, which could cause some of the issues that you are having. I would definitely take her out and inspect her roots.
