Hi y’all! Just got this monstera on Facebook a few weeks ago. I was nervous because I know they can be difficult, she was in incredible health when I got her. I’ve watered her 2 times since I’ve got her, but noticed that 2 of the leaves are beginning to droop. She is by the window, but my apartment gets ZERO direct sunlight, so I thought she would do good here. Apartment is (67-72 degrees) I’m trying to catch this early before it becomes a bigger problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would suggest a grow light since you don’t get a lot of direct sunlight. I used this one all winter with my monstera. Also, they like to dry out a bit in between watering. I use Planta’s suggestion as a guide. Put your finger 1-2 inches in the soil and if it’s still damp wait a few more days.

The grow light on my monstera. My son cannot wait for me to get this beast out of his room and back outside soon. Thankfully his visits home are sporadic until he graduates from college next month. 😂

Hahah that’s awesome. Where do you live to where the monstera will do well outside with the weather?

Chicago suburbs. I’ll put my plants out around Memorial Day weekend. I put it on an east facing covered front porch.
