HELP… I bought a monstera about two months ago, she was growing very well, a little damage when I got her, but she sprouted a new leaf for me recently… I looked behind the leaves today and notice little brown bumps under the smaller leaves, I did not take a picture but they look exactly like the image I found attached to this post, I also have about 3 gnats living in my bathroom, I thought it was my orchid but now I believe it’s from the monstera. I wiped the bumps off with a damp paper towel. How do I prevent the gnats and the dots from happening again

I think the dots look like something called rust fungus. There is lot’s of information available if you google ‘rust fungus monstera’. Good luck 🤞🏻

Rust fungus. Happens if you mist and there’s no air flow
