# Ok I got a moss pole, but I don’t know how to start princess Penelope…

Ok I got a moss pole, but I don’t know how to start princess Penelope on it. Do I stick it in the middle? Do I stick it in the back? Do I tire to it? Do I just get it close? I need help!

Hey! Cute name : Princess Penelope.. loved ittt.  
Keep the moss pole in the middle.

When the plant starts growing big , the stems become too hard and strong and it needs some sort of support.

There is a “front and back” to monsteras. Just check to make sure that the pole is on the back side of the main stem. You can usually tell by checking out where the nodes (or aerial roots) begin to sprout from.
