So my monstera has an fungus gnat infestation anything I can do to get rid of them other than the sticky trap

Top water with a 3:1 - water:hydrogen peroxide mixture to kill the larvae. You may need to repeat this.  
Keep the sticky traps out for the adults.

Beneficial nematodes. Takes a couple weeks for them to eat the adult and baby fungus gnats but it gets rid of them for good

It seems extreme, but you can repot it. Swapping out all of the soil for new. I had a really bad one where they filled the 5 sticky traps in 48 hours. I had enough. Sterilized the pot and cleaned the roots off best I could. If it is really bad, I suggest this route.
