Hello all!! I just recently (within the past couple days) got a monstera plant because I've wanted one for a long time. It's still in the pot the store had it in, but I was wondering if I should repot it or leave it alone? I want to give my plant the absolute best living conditions, but I also don't want to do a bunch of unnecessary things to it. Do I repot it in a special soil/mixture, or just basic soil? I have lots of questions and am very curious, so any and all information is greatly appreciated!!💚💚

I know it likes plenty of light but not in full sunshine.

As it grows use a wooden plank to support it, it’s a climbing plant

Water when the soil dries out

Fertilizer, use less than recommended but more often
