Any recommendations for a growing pole? I don’t want to upkeep replacing moss.

I use a coco coir pole or a wood plank

I use a bamboo stick when they’re younger and a dry coco coir pole when they’re bigger.

I use broom stick and attach Velcro tape gently to the vines to hold them up.

Thanks! It was an old one with no paint left on it so I thought why not 😃

Get a cedar wood plank, you can get a 6’ one from Home Depot/Lowe’s for less than 10$. Cedar would be strong enough for even a monster of a monstera and is moisture resistant enough to not soak in chemicals

These are all great ideas but the aerial roots of a monstera are pretty starting and can get very thick. IMO they want to root into something to absorb moisture and nutrients. Moss poles don’t need much more attention than watering when the plant is watered with a good one. Check out Rousseau’s. My aroids have just exploded in growth and health since I started using these. Godspeed to you whatever you decide. She is a beauty! 💚💚

My mother uses a plank of wood and her produces massive leaves with gorgeous fenestrations 🤷🏼‍♀️
