# Hey everyone ! So I just got my first Monstera ( Thai Constellation…

Hey everyone ! So I just got my first Monstera ( Thai Constellation to be exact ). I recently just got the plant 3 days ago extremely healthy with a new leaf unfolding . Now that the new leaf has unfolded I notice that it is kinda droopy . Any recommendations for if I did anything wrong ? It is in low sunlight gets a good amount water (for what I think) . It does stand straight just the leaf is down . (First picture is when bought it second is current)

I think the leaf is just not done hardening off.  
My Thai Con’s newest leaf always goes through the “awkward” stage.  
The leaf does grow out of it and look like the older ones with time. 😊

Thank you ! Def nice to know I would hate for it to go down hill after 3 days had me nervous . Now I know it has an awkward stage I’ll be less stress lol . I did feel like everything was ok though cause the stem was straight up this time lol

The first time my Thai Con popped out a new leaf I kinda freaked out to.  
Now I know they grow out of it, it’s kinda funny to watch!

lol it is funny cause me being new to the plant world I thought it was went out like the others after opening lol but I seen it go down and got worried

The only thing you have to be careful of at this stage is that the leaf is delicate and easier to damage.  
But once it starts to match the darker green of the other leaves it will be fully hardened off and not as easily damaged.

Yeah I def moved it out the rain worried it would do damage
