# 🆘 I've been struggling to save my Monstera plant for weeks and today…

🆘 I've been struggling to save my Monstera plant for weeks and today when I came home, it had broken apart. I cleaned up the roots and have 4 large sections. Will the roots regrow and can it be saved? Any advice is appreciated...I'd be heartbroken to lose this one 😭

i’d cut away all that black stuff — you’ve definitely got a rot situation. if you have nodes higher up on healthier plant tissue this is certainly still viable!

Thank you! It does have new growth and was repotted a few weeks ago with better drainage. I didn't notice the root rot before and hope I caught it in time ✌️
