I think my Monstera is ready for a larger pot. 😅 But he has gotten so large, I’m kinda nervous about how large of a project it will be. This will be my first time ever reporting this guy. Any tips for first time Monstera repots? Thank you in advance for all the advice!!!

I haven’t repotted anything that big myself yet but from what I’ve seen from others who have, you want the pot to be bigger but not more that 2 inches bigger. Monstera like to be more snug in the pot. (Apparently, that’s what all the videos I’ve watched have said)

This is good to know! I’ll make sure to get a pot that’s not too big! Thank you!!

I bought mine as a 6 inch this spring. Gave her an 8 inch pot a bit after I got her. Just gave her a 10 inch pot lol. I had my husband help so I had more hands. I prepped the new pot then I held the plant while he took the old pot off. Then he held the plant while I added the soil. I also added two poles at that time. She's a monster and I love her.
