# i repotted this guy last weekend and now his leaves are drooping and…

i repotted this guy last weekend and now his leaves are drooping and edges of the leaves are turning brown… i fear he is dying. how can i help him? do i need to lift him up further out of the soil? please help 😢

I have most monstera varieties, and I feel like every time I repot any of them, they get mad at me. I would give it a few days and see if they perk up? I think this time of the year can be tough for a repot because plants are the most active in spring.

i repotted last sunday and he’s been so sad ever since! i lifted him up a little bit so his stems weren’t so much covered in the soil and i water as usual. i’m hoping to see some improvements. he’s definitely mad at me!

What pot was he in prior vs. what size pot did you repot him in? Monsteras do better root bound than they do with too much root space. Could he have too much room?
