# Hi guys! I just got a free ‘rehab’ monstera albo and I’m not sure how…

Hi guys! I just got a free ‘rehab’ monstera albo and I’m not sure how to care for it. It had yellowing drooping leaves from the outside in, the stems were pretty hard/firm which I thought was initially under watered because the soil was very dry. When I inspected the roots I found it had around 6 inches of its main stem in the soil with 4 aerial roots. The very bottom of the stem had rotted a bit due to it being so deep into the soil. I cut all the rotted parts away and propagated each root into a 4 inch pot, and put the top cutting into water. I have never propagated a monstera before so I’d appreciate any advice! Thank you
