# First time plant mom here! I just got this monstera about 2-3 weeks…

First time plant mom here! I just got this monstera about 2-3 weeks ago. I have noticed that she’s starting to get new brown spots on the leaves. I have been watering her every week, and I tried to put her closer to the window just yesterday as I felt like she wasn’t getting enough sun. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey there! I’m a new plant dad myself, my guess would be humidity, monsteras like between 50-60% I believe

Hey I would suggest not in super direct light. The white bits are very delicate and prone to burning if in direct sun, a few hours of sun is okay ☀️ ☺️
