This is a rescue monstera a friend tasked me with saving. I did some pruning a few weeks ago and it’s had a TON of new growth since. Including this. Has anyone seen something like this before?

I did the same to mine and it got a shoot like that. Grew like crazy and got my first double fenestrations. 🍀

I have one like that too, just waiting for it to unfurl.

It have a hunch that it was already growing and just hadn’t popped out of the side before I cut that stalk off so it just grew out of the top of the cut I made, but I have no idea if thats actually what happened.
