# Hello, I got this monstera from Trader Joe’s about 5 weeks ago.…

Hello, I got this monstera from Trader Joe’s about 5 weeks ago. Decided to look at the roots today. Should I be concerned? I am on the east coast so weather is pretty chilly at the moment. Should I wait till summer to repot it? Is this considered root bound? Any advice?

Agreed! Here was my monstera when I finally repotted— i waited a little too long, but he was STILL shooting out new growth. These dudes are amazing. 🌿
