# Help!! My poor monstera is dying!! It’s been yellowing leaves like…

Help!! My poor monstera is dying!! It’s been yellowing leaves like crazy (I’ve already removed over four fully yellowed/browned leaves ) I’ve had this monstera since September 2023 and had it in the corner in between a large north facing window and a high small east facing window. I had moved it to the other side away from the north facing window but still next to the east facing one. It then began yellowing and drooping so I moved it back (not in the corner but next to the north facing window) after about a week or so. It’s still yellowing and I can’t put it back to the corner because of its size and the arrangement of my furniture T\_T is it really the light that’s the problem or could it be something else?

Are there any cold drafts from windows or doors in the new location? It’s not uncommon to drop the older leaves in the winter season but my guess would be a significant temperature change.

How long has it been since its last repot? I recently repotted mine, it was so rootbound and that was affecting its ability to retain water. Since the leaves are crisping instead of mushy I’d say that may be your issue since needing a repot \& underwatering have similar symptoms

I’d open up those blinds and let that sun in!! Be sure to not over water by letting the soil dry out in between watering! I’d give a look for pets too! 🌸
