# Hi, I need a bit of help with my plant. I’m seeing more brown spots…

Hi,

I need a bit of help with my plant. I’m seeing more brown spots pop up and I’m not sure why. It’s in a south facing window and gets watered regularly. I use a moisture meter to check when it might need watering. Since its winter, its been less frequent but all my other plants are the same so I haven’t been alarmed by that.

It definitely needs repotting but I thought it would be best to wait until the spring. I bought it a few months back and it needed repotting then but I’m still very much a beginner so I didn’t know at the time. Since I bought it 4 new leaves have grown but since October, there’s been no new growth. Is this normal considering its condition? It is growing in height though. I’ve attached a few pictures of the brown spots. If anyone knows what might be causing it and how to remedy it I’d be very grateful!

I’ve also added a picture of a leaf that I’ve just removed from the plant.

Hey! What do the roots look like? Also, what do the underside of the leaves look like? I’m having trouble with mine atm, but my brown spots were more likely to have been pests! Are you letting him or her completely dry out before watering? 😊

The undersides look fine except where the brown spots are. Here’s an example

Well they look clear for bugs!! Just let them dry out completely before watering! It takes some getting used to! ✨✨
