Hello plant lovers! I got this monstera over two months ago. I knew it needed repotting due to the fact the roots are growing out of the bottom. I was holding off on it though, I had a feeling my pot is too big and didn’t want to kill her. But I think it’s time she needs room to grow. What do you all think? Is it too big?

I’d probs go a little bit smaller, I doubt it would die but I don’t think it would grow as quick

I think you could try it, I’d just be careful of overwatering

Definitely too big! Go up only an inch in pot size. I would recommend using clear pots with lots of drainage. That way you can keep an eye on the roots. You can get them from Amazon. If you want to use that decorative pot, just put your plant inside of it. You definitely risk root rot if you put it in a pot that big. The soil will drown the roots.
