My monstera was reported in this pot about 4 months ago. It was a white ceramic pot, but it’s developing this crusty orange web pattern all over it! What is this??? Is moisture from the soil saturating the pot and seeping through cracks in the glaze?

Yes, that’s exactly what’s happening. I’ve had ceramic glazed coffee cups do this too when there’s a crack in the surface.

Oh nooo. I wonder if this also means my soil is staying too wet too long or not draining properly. Thank you!!

As long as you don’t let excess water sit in the saucer and the plant isn’t yellowing or looking sad it’s probably ok.
