# So over the last few months I’ve been battling against this monstera,…

So over the last few months I’ve been battling against this monstera, fighting to keep it alive. As a first time monstera owner I did my research to ensure I knew how to look after it.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this plant is still salvageable or whether it’s already rotted? If so what can I do to save it?

Only way u will knw if it’s root rot is to take it out and check the roots. If it is then I would cut what’s rotted, spray w insecticidal soap, spray w neam oil. Let it sit while it dries. Repot in new chunky soil, dnt water for a couple days. If u r gonna use the same nursery pot I would wash it and spray it w the soap and neem oil as well and let air dry before repotting
