# Is it time to pot yet? It’s been propagating in water since the start…

Is it time to pot yet? It’s been propagating in water since the start of July. It looks like it’s pushing through a new leaf! Should I leave it until after it leafs? When would be a good time to pot?

I would wait also. Try doing moss w perlite. Mine grow roots like crazy in moss/perlite

I would’ve potted it as soon as the roots reach around 2-3 inches. The longer you leave them in water the harder they find the transition to soil.
