# My monstera (Patricia) is getting so big! I think I might have to…

My monstera (Patricia) is getting so big! I think I might have to start propagating some of her leaves so she has more room to spread out since I’ve noticed some of her leaves are getting crushed/pushed behind other larger ones. It’ll be my first time propagating and I’m really nervous so if you have any tips!

Are you using any fertilizer on her?

Yes I use liquid fertilizer every month:)

Ooh what type? Is she hydroponic or soil rooted?

I’m no plant expert, but I split my monstera at the beginning of June and it’s doing really well! I had to prop it up a bit more than before, but it’s growing new leaves and looks happy. They seem really resilient!
