Help! My monstera is thriving but the new growth is support by a very thin juvenile stem. I trained a few aerial roots to grow into the soil for stability but I’m worried that he won’t be stable longer term and will snap under the weight. Can I repot and cover that part so the thicker stem sits on top of the soil? Should I cut that stem off and prologate the mature parts?

Background: Had this guy since February and he’s doing great. He was a tiny baby from a friends plant (had roots and two little leaves). Since being with me he’s developed fenestration and the growth has a much thicker stem than the baby leaves.
