How is my plant doing? Looks like it keeps getting yellow spots. I cut off a brown part on the second bottom leaf. Should I completely cut off that leaf? I just repot this plant to a bigger pot but it was already having this issues before. I believe this plant is a Philodendron Xanadu. Correct me if wrong. \<3

yes, it is a Xanadu. cutting that leaf won’t hurt anything, most likely it will make the plant produce more leaves, since it’s yellow there is no saving it. does the pot have a lot of drainage holes at the bottom? there are several leaves which have turned yellow so could be a sign of rot. check for spider mites or mealy bugs (any type of sucking pest) which could also be a problem.

Any recommendations on soil? Maybe I used the wrong soil. I want to save it 🥺 it has drainage holes! Should I cut just the leaf or the whole stem too?
