# Hello everyone! My Monstera is doing great, healthy leaves, a new one…

Hello everyone!  
My Monstera is doing great, healthy leaves, a new one opening soon and one on the way.  
One leaf though (one of the oldest) has brown spots on the edge, I even cut it out from the bigger leaf but it’s coming back now.  
What do you all think? Should I just cut the leaf from its base? What does it indicate for the health of the entire plant?

It might be naturally dying off or could be that it’s roots or stem is bad and it can’t get the right amount of water

I would just cut that leaf off at the stem and see if everything else stays healthy.
