Hi, I’m new to plants and I just bought this beautiful monstera and was wondering what exactly I should do to make sure she lives her best life! Planning on getting a bigger pot of course but I’m not entirely sure how to repot😅🪴

Hi! I’ve had my monstera for 3 years now and have propagated him multiple times! I would start by finding a good location for your plant. It should be somewhere near a window or skylight so he can receive indirect light throughout the day. If you haven’t already, put him on this planta app and get him on a watering schedule. He looks pretty big and developed, so he might need to be repotted soon! Another thing I’ve discovered is good for my monstera delisiosa is some sort of support for it because of how big and heavy they get. A moss pole will probably be too small for this plant, but a trellis might fit better! Hope this helps!

OMG AMAZING MONSTERA!!! You could probably split into multiple plants if you wanted! It’s so nice and full!

hi! i just got my first monstera a while ago too, i’ve found that it’s helpful to mist the leaves frequently if it’s kept inside, (gives extra humidity and also keeps leaves shiny!). they don’t like direct sun, i have mine next to a north facing window with the curtains closed at night and he’s doing just fine. they’re tropical plants so they don’t like dry air which is why the misting is important inside. hope this helps :)
