# Just rescued this monstera from target, hoping she'll end up huge and…

Just rescued this monstera from target, hoping she'll end up huge and grow many fenestrations! I am moving to a new place in less than a week which has MUCH better lighting, I anything I can do to make the transition easier for her?

Also, what does it mean when my monsteras leaves are producing this white, drying looking stuff? I cleaned it off with a cloth and water and it reappeared

The white stains are actually just a mineral residue from hard water likely used at whatever greenhouse they came from. A mixture of dish soap, neem oil, water, and a small amount of rubbing alcohol should get rid of it!
