# hi ! I recently repoted my monstera because it had roots coming out…

hi ! I recently repoted my monstera because it had roots coming out of the drainage holes in the last pot it was in. i’m scared that this pot might be too big, but it has been almost two weeks and I haven’t faced any problems yet. I don’t have the pot filled all the way with soil, so i’m hoping that helps with the size of the pot. should I move it to something smaller ?

I don’t think you’ll have problems, but you might find it grows much slower as it’ll be concentrating on filling the pot with roots.

I would just make sure the soil doesn’t remain wet for too long.
