# My monstera is currently supported by a coir pole. Should I swap it…

My monstera is currently supported by a coir pole. Should I swap it to a moss pole? The aerial roots are starting to grow into the coir, but they won’t get any moisture from that, which makes me think I should swap to moss.

coco coir holds plenty of moisture, it just tends to dry out a bit faster than sphagnum moss. up to you whether you switch it but i think it’d be unnecessary stress
